We are expanding our product portfolio with high-performance POWERbatteries in OE quality – for reliable energy without surprises.
Our POWERbatteries form the starting point of a closed energy circuit around the engine: they supply the starter with the necessary amount of electricity to get the engine running. As soon as the engine is running, it drives the generator via the belt, which in turn charges the battery. A perfectly coordinated interplay of the starter, generator and battery trio for maximum efficiency in an optimum overall concept for the engine drive.
Always a jackpot – Without any risk
SEG Automotive POWERbatteries are completely maintenance-free, leak-proof in accordance with OE standards and are characterized by particularly low self-discharge. With a warranty of three years (12 months for batteries from 110 Ah), they offer a high level of safety and durability.
As diverse as the drive technologies of the future may be, the 12V starter battery remains an indispensable component of modern vehicles. It is not only required in classic combustion engines (ICE), but also in vehicles with various degrees of hybridization (MHEV, HEV, PHEV) as well as in purely electric vehicles (BEV).
Our POWERbatteries are designed for all these forms of powertrain and thus offer a future-proof, reliable solution for the requirements of modern mobility.

The POWERbattery portfolio includes lead-calcium batteries (SLI), enhanced flooded batteries (EFB) and lead-fleece batteries also known as absorbent glass mat batteries (AGM). We thus cover a wide range of applications - from small and mid-range vehicles to luxury and premium class models and commercial vehicles.

Quality even under the hood
POWERbatteries from SEG Automotive impress with a variety of technical features.
In combination with the battery status overview on the label, the integrated Magic Eye makes it quick and easy to check the state of charge – without any additional measuring devices.
Plate separators ensure efficient current flow, increase vibration resistance and prevent short circuits between the plates. The innovative labyrinth lid technology makes the battery completely maintenance-free. It has safety closures, flame arresters and central degassing, which together ensure reliable leakage protection.
The robust housing and stable cover ensure a high mechanical load capacity – ideal for demanding operating conditions. The overall concept is rounded off by an extended lead-calcium grid, which ensures particularly low self-discharge and high resistance to corrosion and heat.
Environmental focus – also for POWERbatteries
In accordance with current EU-wide regulations, SEG Automotive ensures that all POWERbatteries are returned and recycled in an environmentally friendly manner.
As a manufacturer, we take responsibility for the entire life cycle of our batteries. Our take-back systems comply with legal requirements and ensure that the materials they contain are recycled safely and in a way that helps to conserve resources.
