SEG Automotive has joined the Forum on Automotive Aftermarket Sustainability (FAAS) as a new member
SEG Automotive has joined the Forum on Automotive Aftermarket Sustainability (FAAS) – an important platform for promoting sustainable practices in the automotive aftermarket.

What is FAAS?
FAAS was founded by CLEPA (European Association of Automotive Suppliers) and FIGIEFA (Federation of Independent Automotive Aftermarket Distributors). The goal is to create a platform for all relevant players in the aftermarket to exchange ideas, share best practices, and promote sustainable solutions. The overall objective is to develop the European aftermarket into a reliable, future-oriented, and sustainable industry.

FAAS focuses on five key areas within the framework of working groups:
1. Analysis of the carbon footprint in the aftermarket
2. Identification and removal of obstacles in the remanufacturing business
3. Development of a uniform CO₂ assessment methodology for all market participants
4. Optimization of supply chains
5. Harmonization of ESG reporting along the entire supply chain
In addition to other industry associations, its members include renowned manufacturers as well as leading aftermarket groups and distributors.
Why did SEG Automotive become a FAAS member?
Sustainability is deeply rooted in our corporate DNA. It begins with the thoughtful design of our products, which aims to conserve valuable raw materials and reduce CO2 emissions. We consistently rely on renewable energies in our production processes. In addition, we actively work to minimize the environmental impact of our logistics processes.
A key reason for joining FAAS is the unique composition of the initiative. By bringing together manufacturers and retailers in FAAS, it is possible to pool resources in the aftermarket and work together on sustainable solutions. This allows for a holistic approach to be taken across the entire supply chain – from production to workshops. The opportunity to meet with relevant players from industry and trade creates a valuable platform for exchange and the development of sustainable strategies.
With our commitment, we also make an active contribution to promoting sustainability in the aftermarket. At SEG Automotive, we take our social responsibility seriously and therefore consistently support initiatives that are geared toward a sustainable future.
